A petty crime has occured, but is it really even a crime?
On October 31st, 2022 at 9:30 am Resident Assistant Chris woke up to find three of his door decorations missing and his trashed whiteboard. After discovering the scene RA Chris decided to do an investigation of his own to find the culprit. During his morning voluntary rounds he ran into some residents that told him they saw RA Zach pulling items off of the doors in the middle of the night. They also told him that they saw Resident Assistant Brandi running through the halls at around 2 am. Chris continued on his rounds pondering what these RA's were doing when he discovered that RA Emily's expo-marker on her whiteboard was missing. This caught RA Chris's attention because this particular expo-marker had an eraser on the end.
At noon RA Chris decided that he would question his fellow RAs. RA Chris was very suprised when he did not get a confession from any of them. However, this questioning allowed Chris to determined that his main suspects are RA Zach, Brandi and Emily. While RA Chris was returning to his room he pondered how he was going to contiue this investigation.At 1:37pm RA Chris found his door decorations in the stairwell. After this discovery RA Chris decided that at 5 pm he would question the suspects in person to further his investigation.
Resident Assistant Chris is a senior at Texas State University. He has been an resident assistant for two and a half years. He is a theater major and a fun fact about him is a blackbelt in Taekwondo. Chris really enjoys being an resident assistant and takes his job very seriously. He spends most of his time making sure the hall is a fun envoirnment for the students.
Chris determined Zach was a suspect because he has no one to corroborate his alibi and he was seen by a resident tearing down objects from the wall in the middle of the night.
Chris determined that Emily was a suspect because her expo maker was missing from her whiteboard and she has no one to corroborate her alibi.
Chris determined that Brandi was a suspect because she lied about doing on call rounds with Zach leaving her with no alibi.
